Organizers focused on a proposed across-the-board 2.6% budget cut in the upcoming City Budget, further worsening the City’s lack of funding for its own poverty reduction strategy.

Participants signed-on to the ‘Faith In The City’ open letter and call to action urging the City to take action on poverty. Panelists included Leila Sarangi of Women's Habitat, Vincent Wong of the Metro Toronto Chinese and Southeast Asian Legal Clinic and Anita Khanna of Family Service Toronto.
